- General conditions
This document regulates the conditions under which you can benefit from the services we offer. By making a reservation or benefiting from the services we offer, you express your acceptance of the content of these terms and conditions.
- The services offered by the Supplier include:
Accommodation / Other services (activities and relaxation areas)
The number and type of rooms available for booking can be found in the available booking platform and also on our website.
To reserve the entire resort, we invite you to contact us before making the reservation, in order to could send personalized offers.
Comanici Boyar’s House is a resort intended mainly for adults, the access of children (people under 18) being allowed only with strict supervision of adults.
- Check-in:
Check-in
Access to the property is allowed from 15:00 on the first day of accommodation. Rooms can be occupied from 15:00.
Check-in will be done only on the basis of an identity document: identity card, a passport or driver’s license. In the absence of an identity document, the reservation will be canceled and access to the property will not be allowed, Comanici Boyar’s House not assuming any responsibility for any damage thus suffered.
After 21:00 it is no longer possible to check in, the reserved room will be available only the next day starting at 15.00.
At the accommodation you will receive a key for your room. Please take care of it or you can choose to leave them in our care if you go hiking. If the key to the entrance to the room and / or the key to the access to the property is lost or damaged, the replacement costs you will have to assume are the following: 100 lei for each key.
- Check-out
The room must be checked-out by 11:00.
On the premises, there is no: easy wheelchair access, TV, minibar in the room.
- Meals
Breakfast is not included in the accommodation package purchased by the Client.
- Serving alcoholic beverages
The consumption of alcoholic beverages which results in damage brought to the property is strictly forbidden. Any damage provoked by the consumption of alcoholic beverages on the property (rooms, museum, relaxing area, court-yard) shall be sanctioned with payment of repairs needed, as well as with the immediate cancellation of the reservation without any reimbursement of the amounts already paid. Persons under 18 years of age are forbidden to alcohol consumption.
- Activities and relaxation areas
The area where the Comanici Boyar’s House location is located is a hilly area, so it is addressed to people who are familiar with the specific activities, conditions and risks. Comanici Boyar’s House reserves the right to delimit some spaces within the resort to which the Client does not have access.
Customers fully assume all risks related to exploring the perimeter of the resort or access to relaxation areas, which are located in a rugged environment and may be difficult to access for some people.
CUSTOMERS ‘ACCESS AND PARTICIPATION IN ANY OF THE ACTIVITIES OFFERED IS STRICTLY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GUESTS. BOERESK DOES NOT ASSUME ANY RESPONSIBILITY WITH REGARD TO THEIR SAFETY, INTEGRITY, AND HEALTH.
Any attempt to operate the heating equipment is prohibited: stoves, fireplace, boiler. In any situation it is mandatory to request the assistance of the Boeresk staff.
It is forbidden to move any hammock already installed in our location.
- CONFIRMATION AND MODIFICATION OF RESERVATIONS
Any reservation made by the Customer is considered confirmed and produces legal effects only after it has been confirmed by Comanici Boyar’s House by an email sent to the Customer and only if the full price has been validly paid. Reservations can only be changed with the express consent of Comanici Boyar’s House.
Requests to change reservations that have not been approved by Comanici Boyar’s House do not entitle the Customer to a partial or full refund of the price paid.
All reservations depend on the availability of accommodation.
Comanici Boyar’s House reserves the right to refuse any reservation, without restrictions, without compensation, at its discretion, before it is confirmed.
Comanici Boyar’s House reserves the right to cancel any reservation for justified reasons, with the obligation to refund the amounts paid in advance, the customer not having the right to make any claim or claim for compensation for any damage thus suffered by Comanici Boyar’s House
If the Client does not show up on the date of arrival stipulated in the reservation, he is not entitled to a refund of the amount paid in advance.
The amounts related to the unused services or the reserved services, but not requested, or modified, during the Client’s stay (accommodation, breakfast, additional meals) will not be refunded.
If a Client chooses to vacate the room before the term stipulated in the reservation, Comanici Boyar’s House has no obligation to partially refund the price paid. Comanici Boyar’s House will not refund the money paid for bookings made and confirmed, as they are non-refundable.
- Methods of payment, guarantees
All payments that have not been made online in advance will be made in cash at check-in. Payment by cards or other types of holiday vouchers is not possible.
If the identity of the cardholder used for payment is different from that of the person listed as the holder of the reservation in our system, it is necessary and mandatory to present the identity card of the cardholder used.
Payment for additional accommodation and services provided during the stay will be made at check-out, unless the parties have agreed otherwise.
It is mandatory to pay in full the value of the accommodation services at the time of booking the stay.
Payments to Casa Boierului Comanici for accommodation services can only be made online with a debit/credit card or partially with cash upon arrival.
- Pets
Comanici Boyar’s House philosophy is to respect and embrace nature. However, access with pets inside Comanici Boyar’s House is strictly forbidden, given all the aspects indicated by these terms and conditions.
- Prohibitions and responsibilities
Failure to comply with the Comanici Boyar’s House rules mentioned in this document or which have been brought to the notice of the Customer in other ways, or committing any acts that may affect the safety and security of the Customer, other guests or their belongings, Comanici Boyar’s House staff or collaborators or resort, entitles Comanici Boyar’s House to immediately cancel the reservation of the Client and to request his departure from the resort.
The following activities are also prohibited inside the Comanici Boyar’s House resort:
- removing objects from the rooms outside them;
- excessive alcohol consumption or drug use;
- use of own audio systems (including portable speakers, high volume on the phone etc.);
- the use of drones or professional photo / video equipment without the prior consent of the Comanici Boyar’s House manager.
Any photo / video sessions within the resort will be carried out only with the prior consent, expressed in writing of Comanici Boyar’s House.
Smoking is prohibited on the property of Comanici Boyar’s House, except for places specially designed for smoking.
Smoking inside the rooms or in other locations than those specially designed shall be sanctioned according to law and with the cessation of the right of residence.
It is forbidden to use drones on the private property of Casa Boierului Comanici without the prior consent of the Casa Boierului Comanici administrator. Any violation of this prohibition will automatically lead to the application of legal sanctions by the authorities, and the guest will have his contract terminated by Casa Boierului Comanici.
Exceptions to this prohibition presuppose the existence of a drone operating authorization issued by the Romanian authorities in favor of the guest and obtaining an express agreement regarding the making of video material from the Casa Boierului Comanici.
Comanici Boyar’s House expressly disclaims any responsibility for the quality of drinking water from the spring which cannot be constantly tested.
Comanici Boyar’s House assumes no responsibility for absolutely any interaction with domestic, wildlife, insects, snakes, which may enter the property.
Guests expressly undertake to be vigilant and confirm that they have been notified of the existence of these types of hazards, specific to our area.
Comanici Boyar’s House assumes no liability for loss, theft or damage to guests’ property.
Comanici Boyar’s House does not provide storage services for guests’ personal belongings. Any person present on the property of Comanici Boyar’s House is liable for any damage caused to the property, staff or other guests, being obliged to fully repair the damages in accordance with applicable laws.
For the safety of guests, staff and the integrity of the resort, in case of violation of contractual provisions, if any person behaves inappropriately, has a aggressive behaviour, disturbs the other guests of Comanici Boyar’s House and refuses to comply with the rules, he/she is restricted from accessing the resort immediately, being invited to leave or be escorted from the premises, his/her contract being terminated, without the right to to reimburse the amounts of money paid or to claim compensation for the damage thus suffered.
The client will take care not to leave any of his/her children unattended within the resort.
The Customer is liable for all damages caused by Comanici Boyar’s House or to a third party, through his own fault or intent, his companion or a person responsible for the Customer. This liability also applies if the injured party has the right to claim compensation directly from Comanici Boyar’s House.
Comanici Boyar’s House assumes responsibility for any damages caused to the Customer, which take place inside the resort, directly through his fault or that of his employees and undertakes to repair the damage thus suffered and proven.
Comanici Boyar’s House will not be liable for any current, eventual or future damage that did not occur through its sole fault.
Comanici Boyar’s House is not responsible for damages, injuries caused in the spaces where warnings and recommendations displayed by the accommodation unit are violated.
The customer is obliged to notify Casa Boierului Comanici immediately of any damage and provide all the necessary data that can clarify the circumstances of the damage event, or that are possibly necessary for the preparation of the police report/police procedures.
Each Customer is responsible for personal belongings while they are in his possession and under his supervision (including in rooms intended for accommodation). Casa Boierului Comanici will be liable for valuables, securities and cash only if it took them specifically for safekeeping or the damage was caused for reasons for which, according to the general rules, it is responsible. In this case, the proof falls under the Client's obligation.
- Guarantees regarding accommodation
In the event that we cannot fulfill the services stipulated in the Contract, due to our fault (eg overbooking, temporary functioning problems, etc.), Casa Boierului Comanici will return to the Client the amount related to the services he did not benefit from;
Casa Boierului Comanici does not assume responsibility for other expenses or situations derived from the cancellation of the reservation by the accommodation unit.
If the Client does not comply with the obligation to pay the value of the services purchased during the stay, which he benefited from, or which he ordered but did not benefit from, the Provider has the right to retain the personal items as a temporary guarantee of the Client, which he brought to the accommodation unit, according to the provisions of the Civil Code.
- Force majeure
That cause or circumstance (for example: war, fire, flood, adverse weather conditions, power outage, strike) which the Contracting Party cannot control (force majeure), relieves either party of its obligations under the contract, until when these causes or circumstances persist.
The Parties agree to take all necessary measures to minimize the possibility of such causes and circumstances, and to remedy, as soon as possible, any damage or delay resulting therefrom.
In view of the actual location of our resort, Comanici Boyar’s House disclaims any responsibility for any case of objective inability to provide the necessary utilities, in any event of fortuitous event or force majeure that would affect the provision of services in favor of the guests. The parties classify as a case of force majeure any external event which makes it impossible for the resort to function in full or in part, including, but not limited to, extreme weather events, floods, riots, epidemics or pandemics, war, any measures by local or central authorities that prohibit or restrict the operation of the resort.
The adoption of local or national administrative measures or the entry into force of legal rules which make it impossible or excessively onerous to provide the services provided by Comanici Boyar’s House are assimilated to the case of force majeure
including but not limited to significant restrictions on the operation of accommodation units, the impossibility of providing bar and / or restaurant services, etc.
- Modification of terms and conditions
We reserve the right to change, change or update these terms and conditions at any time without notice. We recommend that you check this document regularly for any changes. The changes will take effect within one day after their publication on the site, without prior notice. By using our services without express objection, you agree to the new changes.
- Booking cancellation policy
Comanici Boyar’s House is a guesthouse with a limited number of rooms. For this reason, the cancellation policy is very strict.
If a reservation is canceled at least 14 days before arrival, the amounts charged will not be refunded but may be used at a later date, subject to availability.
If a reservation is canceled up to 14 days before the arrival date or in case of no-show, the entire value of the reservation will be paid to Comanici Boyar’s House.

The Casa Boierului Comanici accommodation unit is committed to protecting and respecting the confidentiality of the personal data you entrust to us. This document contains important information about how we use the data collected. It describes how we collect, use, process and transmit the data you give us when you access and use our booking system. Those who access and use our booking system will be referred to as "users".

The information we collect is necessary to provide you with accommodation services or to respond to your requests, and if you refuse to provide it to us, you may not be able to take full advantage of our services.
We collect information about you in 4 ways:
- a) Directly – when you contact us; when completing the feedback questionnaires; when you fill in the accommodation form.
- b) Indirectly – for example when data from the booking platform in being provided in order to make reservations and / or generate the accommodation card, to which we will have access;
- c) Automatically – when you access our site, we collect information through cookies, as well as in the case of images captured by video surveillance cameras in our location. For more information on the use of cookies, you can find here
- c) From third parties – we can also obtain information about you from third parties, such as when another person makes the reservation on your behalf, in case of group bookings or when a voucher is being issued/transferred;
To what end do we use your personal data?
When you interact with us we will collect personal data and use them for the following purposes:
- processing reservations/booking;
- preparing the accommodation form;
- processing the payments you have made;
- providing customer service;
- issuing and using vouchers;
- fulfillment of legal obligations or compliance with the provisions of public authorities.

Also, certain data will be stored for the period provided by law, for example:

Data processing of other persons
In case you choose to provide us with the personal data of other people, such as when you when you book a room on behalf of others or when you want to transfer a voucher, you assume responsibility on how you obtained this data legally and you have a legal basis for processing their personal data, in accordance with GDPR. We are not responsible for violating the rights of those persons.
Updating the Data Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to add, modify or delete portions of this Privacy Policy in the future to ensure that the information contained therein provides relevant and appropriate information regarding our collection and processing of personal data.
